Hi there! Thanks for stopping by.
I'm a San Francisco, Mission-based urban photographer and an occasional writer. I like to use color and composition to create limitless artistic possibilities out of objects and street scenes often overlooked in every day life.
I find inspiration in the diversity of San Francisco and use its neighborhoods as my playgrounds to explore themes of love, joy and community.
Capturing the authenticity of the moment is paramount to me. My photos are often taken in one shot and as found to allow for natural flaws. I believe these add character and honesty to the piece.
As an obsberver of the world around me, I have recently begun exploring how photography can be used to intuit and interpret the emerging patterns in our lives.
Enjoy,
Carrie
